About:
Ginsei used to be a very grand vase made by hand from a well-known and skilled pottery craftsman. She was sold and placed a item of power to decorate a feudal lord's throne room. After a few years the lord's children accidentally broke her while playing. Out of the respect and well done job the vase had done for him the lord paid the very craftsman who made her to repair her using the Japanese art of pottery repair called "Kintsugi" which follows the idea to embrace that which is broken and give the damage beauty rather then hide it.
So she was repaired with a fine paste of platinum and stood again at the lord's side with her newfound beauty. After living in the lord's home for a thousand years the vase called 'Ginsei' reincarnated as a Tsukumogami. An item given life because of her respect and appreciation and care from the lord's family line.
She now lives and guards the land that had long been converted into a shrine to the family linage her of master vowing to keep it beautiful and well protected until the end of time.
