
Sketch Commission - Saved?

Okay, so I couldn't think of a good title for this one, but this is a Sketch Commission done for
arris who wanted a pic of the Hanna Barbera version of Godzilla having just rescued a ship.
This was a really enjoyable picture to work on. I loved working on every bit of Godzilla from the pose, to the strong build and gut, to the muscular legs, to the feet. The detail on the skin was also a highlight. It was also my first time drawing a boat and I'm glad I was able to do it.

Nice boat.
I love how this came out. His appearance is just like the show made in your current style. You really got across his bigness here, both height and build. And that title still works. He means well in this interpretation, but that size difference has to be giving those sailors a pause.
