Anansi is the King of Kings among Arachi kind. Enormous, vicious, powerful and possessed of frightful cunning, only he has united the Arachi race enough to create laws and collectives. And he has done all of this with the help of his mysterious pet, The Oracle.
Many years past, Anansi stumbled upon a nearly dead Lepidan Seeress, her wings shorn off and her body brutalized - likely by some displeased Vespid customer. entranced by her strange beauty, despite the loss of her colorful wings, Anansi took her up into his arms and carried her away to his subterranean palace where he and other Arachi healed her and brought her back to the world.
Seeing past his hideous face and barbaric race, Tae swore herself to the Arachi king, and promised him a brilliant future as Lord of all Arachi. Through her visions, Anansi has become untouchable, for Tae will let no creature harm her master, and relishes the deaths of traitors at his hands.
