Ub'rick was not born to a great life, or even a great family. Born under the name Slovan Hundear, her family disliked her from an early age. Disliking her need to be a woman, she was shunned and shamed by her elder siblings and her mother. She didn't get to spend much time with her father, The vulpines were at war and so he wasn't home for long, just enough to make sure Ub'rick got two younger siblings.

Being the middle child Ub was often bullied but stuck up for her younger brother and sister. When Ub'rick was eleven her eldest brother left for war. She was forced to support the family and learn to smith, it was the family tradition. Using her fire magic she was halfway decent at it. However tensions continued to flare between her and her family, they came to ahead one night when Ub'rick came home in a dress.

In a rage, her mother and her had a massive fight. With the boiling point reached Ub'rick yelled that she would leave, her mother, not wanting Ub to ruin the family name. She she grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed her middle child in the eye, Shoving the knife in deep and pushing her corpse to the ground. The younger siblings all watched in horror, then followed their mothers commands. Under the dark of knight, Ub'rick's body was dumped into the desert. She was still dying, managing to stay alive.

Darkness was taking her quickly, before a bright light shone in the sky above her. Her goddess, Fervita had appeared. Hating the wars that plagued her people and seeing the dying vulpine as a fulcrum able to be used to tilt the sides, she offered Ub'rick a second chance. She changed the girls body into the one she had always desired. She also endowed her with magical strength, sending her back to the Vulpines.

The young woman joined the rebellion and met Su'rha. A beautiful Sand Clan Vulpine, who quickly captured her heart. The pair worked together and Su'rha saw Ub'rick's usefulness, the woman could craft a sword in mere seconds with her fire magic and enhanced strength. Though this would prove fatal, in a large scale assault. Ub's quick made weapons broke and gave in, getting people killed. Su'rha was slaughtered by her twin sister Gur'ha, Ub was one of the only ones to return from the battle.

She was looked too as a leader, everyone knowing of her relationship with Su'rha. Ub refused, but. Could not leave her people alone, so she learned all she could about smithing, worked day in and out. Became very skilled in her pyromancy, eventually once she felt she had learned enough she helped the rebellion rebuild, however the city was under the thumb of the Divine. Then the knights arrived and Ub'rick hatched a plan, using the knights she launched an all out assault on the divine and his minions and managed to win the day, freeing the city.

Ub left with the knights not feeling she deserved any praise and chasing the beautiful Nikara Ereatha. The pair were quickly bonded, spending the next two years Ub'rick perfected her crafted and her love for Nikara only grew. Finally the small fox popped the question and the pair were hitched. Not long after Nikara's former lover arrived and confessed her hearts desire for the mountain, as did Laurie's teacher. Soon it was a foursome. But Ub'rick did not care, for the first time in her entire life...she was loved.

It has been a bumpy road since then, but such is the way with the knights. She opened a shop with Sardona, she has found love for smithing again, and now after the 3rd annual knights tournament. She plans to study aeromancy. She is ready to grow.
