The left part of my "Mermaids" project. This is the... uhm... second or third anthropomorphic or anthropomorphic-like creature I've ever drawn. Not too convincing, but I'll try to fix some parts while working on the bigger picture. Mugil cephalus, by the way.

Underwater you need to see well with little light, so I guess they are not too bad. Fishes often have large eyes. (I don't remember well but I seem to remember that they have some smell-related function too.)
