A freind of mine has gotten into ham radio and has both a little hand set and old school big box. I know about Yagi antennas from old WWII radar and TV roof antennas.

Thanks strawberryneko It came out awesome! I've been using this as an image on "SSTV" (like TV but slower) transmitting it occasionally around the world and locally to see if there are any other radio furs out there :)

Tracking wildlife that have had radio collars put on them. Usually to allow biologists to track migrating herds, or to monitor possible nuisance animals, such as bears that are at risk of becoming habituated to garbage and that.
