Hey everyone! Welcome back to the FM spotlight! As I mentioned in the journal and in the spotlight itself, there will be a hiatus for a week or two after this Spotlight, as I’m attending DenFur next week and spending some vacation time in Colorado. There were lots of great pieces that came out in the last couple weeks! It was a challenge to narrow them down. Is everyone having a last burst of creativity before the summer is over?
Anyway, onto the main event, have a listen and enjoy!
I look forward to lots of great music when I get back from vacation!
Until next time!

Thanks for featuring me! I'm really glad you enjoyed my piece, and yes, you did great with the pronunciation!
As for the question, in my case I've been playing the piano for about 8 / 9 years; an instrument I'd love to play is the violin (or the accordion also).
Anyway thanks again for spotlighting "Saltarello" along with the other songs on the list, which all sounded impressive indeed.

Great selections, Ikodo! Take some photos while you're at Denfur and share them with us!
As far as instruments go, I play quite a few: Piano, keyboard (which is quite different as I'm sure you know), hammered dulcimer, guitar, mountain ocarina, doumbek, kalimba, and I'm currently working on charango and violin.
The one instrument I would die to get my hands on is the hang drum. There are so many variations as it is part of the steel drum family (if that's a thing) but the hang is absolutely mesmerizing and I got to see one performed live as an opening for a Dead Can Dance concert. There were only 5000 hang drums made so getting my paws on one is a pipe dream, but still. I've always been a dreamer. :3

When I'm not busy doing staff things, I'll make sure to take plenty of pictures!
A couple of those instruments I had to look up because I had actually not heard of them before! I also should have added to my list the djembe, since I do have one that I occasionally play at open stage nights :)
OMG, I love the sound of hang drums! If you ever manage to get your hands on one you MUST let me know, and I hope you do someday!

I play enough instruments to be a one-man band, but I love piano the most. I've been playing it since I was in elementary school, and it's the most diverse instrument as you can do many kinds of music with it.
As for the songs, it's a good amount of differentiation of the kinds of composers/songwriters here in the community :) I love it all ^^
