A few days of travel down into a cave system unlike anything any of us have ever seen, deeper and deeper, the smell of the surface fading with each forward step, quickly replaced by the overpowering scent of dirt and decay, mold and moss, antiquated air not stirred for ages.
And finally, with many turns taken, many dead ends, and a few monsters left worse for wear, here we are- on the precipice of finally advancing on our goal; A city lost to time and a treasure immune to it.
