Oh god, I hope to never have to do another comic with multiple characters in the foreground again. This was hell, getting the pics of everybody. It was a challenge, plus I wasn't satisfied with the quality of the scan of the ink work, and I had left in some pencil lines, so I re-scanned it, and colored it from scratch (luckily I hadn't colored the whole thing before I realized that)

I don't remember the last time I've ever laughed at a professional comic strip in the Tribune (or any major newspaper) that was supposed to be funny. And yet, they're still the undisputed professional comic artists.
I laugh more at these than I do at the ones in the paper.

It bugs me when people keep bitching that they don't get a LOL from these. How many times do you actually find yourself laughing at the funny pages in the newspaper? Just because you don't find it funny, doesn't mean that everyone else feels the same way. It's always a hit-and-a-miss.
