I just found this comic adorable and I kind found oddly fond of all character involved...AAAANNNDD this led me to dig some info on Opossums and Hyenas...Here some of the results
Opossums kids are called Joeys, Male possum are called Jack while Female Jills. (HA)
Female Opossum have two vaginas(?!? WAIT WHAT?) Male Opossum have bifurcated penis(OK...weird)
Opossum have more teeth than most mammalian(A WINNING SMILE!)
Their "play Possum" is mostly an automatic reflex in from of very stressful situation. And is often accompanied by what we could call Necro fart(glandural emission that smell like rotting corpse). Probably anthro adult opossum leanr to keep this in check like we human does with our bladder, so this would be triggered only in situation where an human would pis himself in pure terror

I just realized that I did not told you any real comment onf the artwork for real. Is really good, your style is VERY elegant, with the opossume coming out very classy looking and cute, probably the best looking opossum i've seen. The design of the characters and the background give a sort of retro and yet modern vibe, and the dialogue crack me up, Thumb up for you.
