Author’s Note: This story, as with Pets, Pats, Poofs, was written before I began proper work on The PokéPoof Project. As such, it has elements that might be considered (thus far) non-canon, namely the presence of electronics like televisions and cameras. Consider them to be fun Pokemon-themed side stories of a possible future for my bizarre Alternate-Universe.

The legends foretold of this day, upon which the slumbering behemoth would awake once more. Wielding a pencil carved from the very branches of Yggdrasil, he once again hones his cursed and cursive craft upon vast plains acting as his parchment. Gentlemen, behold, words! Some roughly seven-hundred of them to be exact, carved into the bedrock twixt foothills. An omen of works to come, or but a moment's fancy before he returns to his sopor? Only time will tell...

By Odin's beard, I actually made something and, even more surprisingly, decided to post it. Might be more on the way, motivation willing. This particular bundle of sentences was inspired by a picture Bunnykisses drew, who I in turn inspired him to draw. It's a mutual thing.

Fun behind the scenes fact: The second to last paragraph where Bella is starting the broadcast was originally the start of the story, when I still had something far smaller in mind. It would have been like the other story blurbs you might have seen on Bunnykisses' other work if had I held to that path. Instead, I decided this would be better though and, for better or worse, vastly underestimated the words necessary to reach my planned ending from where I started from. Good news is, there's actual characters and stuff now, simple as they might be, and something resembling a beginning, middle and end.

Hopefully I'll continue this with other characters and scenarios, for those of you feeling a little let down by the lack of diaper content. This was mostly just setting the scene and establishing characters, so I'll be able to get into the fun stuff next time~
