Done entirely in Garage Band using only loops and synths, this song, or at least the short version of it, is the most chaotic thing I have ever done and will probably ever do, named in honor of a couple of people I wrote this for...if they ever get around to seeing it. Heh, it's frankly amazing I actually wrote something at all, though maybe not that amazing considering this was a class assignment in which I quadrupled the amount of work I was supposed to do. Ended up turning it in late. I'm fully mental. -..-

NOTE: MAJOR altering took place, including eleven less seconds and a much better middle sound. I discovered the effects latent in GarageBand! Also I'm using the word MIX instead of Mix to indicate that I will not be doing future work on this piece outside of a possible extension. And yes, I deleted the older piece. No, I will NOT put it back up. Its younger brother is my favorite. Screw the elder child. The streets are much more suitable, and I hope it catches pneumonia out there. :P

No, of COURSE you dont' have to write like this all the time. I prefer your regular style much more. You could take this style to new levels if you have musical feelings that this style would be appropriate for, though.
I agree with you on that - you write MUSIC - not mindless noise. Keep in mind, though, that there ARE some good metal bands out there. Are you famlliar with Testament? I like some of their stuff, though I haven't listened to it in a while. Also, I have a tape that I'd like you to listen to a couple of songs from. This band is a band of people I knew in High School who had an album put together. They're no longer together as a band, but HEY! I still have the tape.
