Hehehe, daww, thanks a lot! That's incredibly flattering, as that's a high title. Of course I can point you out to a million of other artists I think are better, but I'm grateful nonetheless, honestly. :)
I'm glad you're excited to see the comic, but I don't think anybody else is more excited than Kashra and myself. It was under wraps for so long, and the prequel has been finished long enough to torture us thoroughly before its release. :)
Hope it comes out in time for others to read and hopefully enjoy!

You're certainly welcome! But who said that I was judging you purely on how well you put pen to paper? You're a cool guy, Keto, you're down to earth and you take the time to interact with your fans; I can only wish that more of these artists that are 'better' would do that. Though don't let me play down your style - you've got great talent and I would not be surprised to see you get even better.
And yes, very excited indeed! I'm glad you guys held out on us, because if you hadn't then it would have been torture for us! Any clues as to what time period it takes place in? Or are we just gonna have to wait and see now?

Hahaha. Daww, those are some big words dude, and are very flattering. Thanks. I don't know though, I kind of think most people enjoy to interact with people, but I suppose to can't speak for other people. So I can only speak for myself, and my first thought when I read something like what you said is kind of a, "Well duh, why wouldn't I take the time to try and interact with people?" My personal take on art in general really, is that I know I'm not the best, I'm always trying to improve, and I enjoy art enough to do it purely for myself, but just like that fruit-jam on TV, the best things in life are meant to be shared. :) And I really enjoy doing that that I can enjoy doing art, and then I can share it have people enjoy it with me. So naturally, I'm just incredibly grateful for every single person who watches the artwork, who favorites the artwork, who comments the artwork, or even just gives it a view, because there is so much awesome art out there, that it's incredible to me that someone would take the time to look at mine. Plus this is an online gallery with a comment system... it feels like that just encourages socializing. What better way to show appreciation than to interact and thank the people?
Anyways, enough of that. We're excited for the comic to finally be released. :) The time period is... well at a time when bi-planes were still around and common. :3 I believe I'm allowed to reveal that much. I'm so use to this kinda of secrecy, that I've only recently began to realize I can relax and be less uptight about it all. ;p

I try not to be too flattering but sometimes I can't help myself And I would have to agree with you; this whole system FA has got going on encourages interaction...just all to often I see watchers getting ignored by these artists that just can't take a little bit of time to even say thank you, sadly. It's very disheartening. But yes, enough of that - you take the time and that's what counts
Ooh, biplanes...hehe, I like biplanes... And seeing as how bi-planes in themselves present a certain mystique due to the fact we all grew up in the jet aircraft age - coupled with yours and Kashra's brilliance I am confident that the comic will not disappoint this gear-head :P. And like I told Kashra, you may think there is glaring problems with your work, but you're human; we over-criticize ourselves far too often. I'm sure any small discrepancies will be swiftly crushed and forgotten by the mountain of talent you both have and have brought to this comic

Planes ARE awesome. Especially biplanes. Though, the Flying Fang in the background is a cargo.
I'm not very knowledgeable about planes, past or present, so it WAS a challenge. Luckily, now that this is not a secret anymore, I'm able to get help from some friends who are WAY more aviation-savy. :3

I use to be an exclusive traditional artist, but over the recent years, I've gotten more and more familiar with digital art. There's still definitely pros and cons to both though.
The comic was a big educational and fun experience, and we look forward to continuing it. I am definitely proud of the the effort we put in, and the product we have and will have.

:) Thanks. It was a new style for me. I use to do a similar style back in the day, so I was ALMOST revisiting an old style I've worked with, but nothing at this level. I did a test picture awhile ago, and posted it, and it received enough of a good response, and my friend and I liked it enough too, to where we decided to use it for this project.
Thanks!
Thanks!
hehe, daw, thanks!
And nope! I won't have a table at FC this year. I've never been to a furcon with any type of business mindset really, so not sure if I'll be doing a table anytime soon at any con. I actually even attempt to avoid doing any art at cons at all, because conventions are more of a vacation for me, rather than source of money. I like to just party and hang out and socialize with friends and people, and enjoy the nerdy furry environment that I can indulge myself in.
Hope ya enjoy it when it comes out!

Congratulation. I bet it'll be great project ^^
I always thought you two are good partners.
I love your arts and I love Kashra's writing.
I hope I could put my paws at this comic >:3
But about this what I see now... Fossil? How could you? xD
Whole picture looks really sweet. But... Why you put him in your gallery and he put you in his gallery?
Still... They're cute when they're arguing :3

Thanks a lot! It's been a pretty great experience so far, and we're just at the tip of the iceburg! :)
Thanks a lot. I DO enjoy workin alongside Kashra, and I think our creativity together works well together. I think it also helps that we were friends before the project. I can imagine a ton of problems if I had started a collaboration with someone I hardly knew.
We definitely hope to get the comic into everyone elses paws soon too! I call him a fossil, because it's TRUE. ;3
We cut this promo-piece in half and each posted a piece because... well he might have his own reasons, but I liked the idea because it kind of supported the idea that this wasn't an individual project, but very much a collaboration. Plus he has watchers I don't have, and I have watchers he doesn't have. So it's also just to get as much exposure as possible. So I didn't want to be the only one who posts it. I guess we COULD'VE both posted the full picture together too, but I liked the idea of the picture being incomplete to spark curiosity to check out the other half on each other's FA page.
Thanks a lot!

How dare you tease me with this Keto...until FC no less...However the good thing is that one I can see the comic and two I can finally meet you all in the same awesome trip! Kashra and you teaming up, that's like a dynamtic duo of awesomeness! I really got to take the time to read some more of Kashra's stuff. Very good from what I ahve read of him! :)
Wow. :D This caught me completely by surprise!
Indeed, you two seem to complement each other, especially with the story telling and art showing. I will highly look forward to this, and if it does come out in FC 2010, then I'll be sure to buy a copy from you.
Great job, and keep up the good work! :3

Hehehe, thanks a lot Krig!
Yeah, I usually like to progress in my art. ;3 Least that's what I aim for. One of the unique things for the comic experience was, first having a deadline, then having to balance quality and quantity, and choosing an appropriate style for this. So while this style isn't as detailed or anything as the usual stuff, we still definitely wanted it to look nice still. And Kashra and I will only get better and better (theoretically) over time, once we continue the story.

Thanks! Glad ya like the style. It was kind of a last-minute decision, but ended up being the style Kashra and I wanted to stick with for this prequel issue. I was CONSIDERING changing up the style for the next issue though... but maybe not. We'll see!
Thanks for the support, definitely appreciate it. All we (Kashra can chime in if he disagrees with me) wanted to do was create a comic and have as many people as possible enjoy it. :)

Daw, well thank you for all the kindness! It's always really awesome when people take the time to say such things. I really appreciate it all, and I wish I could help with the distance problem. I can't guarantee anything, but the comic MIGHT be sold online too. But I'm not sure. I hope it is, because the idea of someone across the world, holding it and reading and enjoying it, sounds amazing to me. :)
Thanks for all the support!
Thanks for all the support!
Can't wait to see the story! Its amazing so far.
And watching your artistic talent evolve is like watching a child grow, to use a movie quote because I am the least original person ever. But it gets better and better all the time.
Hoping I didn't creep you out,

Thanks a ton for the support! It's not creepy at all, i t's wonderful! Everybody's support has been so grand, you have no idea. :)
The story will definitely unfold. The upcomming issue #0 is just a prequel, but we'll be working on the actual thing sometime soon hopefully.
Hahaha, and I think about that too sometimes actually... cause there are certain names that comment on my stuff these days, who I remember commenting on my stuff YEARS ago... and aside from the usual feeling of gratefulness, it might sound weird, but I feel slightly connected, in the sense that I've been growing myself, as an artist and person, and people have witnessed a portion of that in the art. :)
It's awesome to think about, and thank you!
