Happy belated birthday to the sweetest bird on the block,
pashmenia
Tried to push values a little more in this one, but I'm still micromanaging and adding too much detail into unimportant parts.. Gettin stronger though.

I've been gawking at this bad boi all night man. Like, you.. REALLY went all out for my sake lmao. I'm so honored ;_;
Still can't get over dem lovely legs. I don't think you've ever colored/shaded in that style before? Like it kinda reminds me as if you had detailed it by hand with a chalk stick? The little bits of green in the dark spots is dayum good too!! Is that something you started doing to minimize the appearance of black-points? It seems like a really professional idea :o It's easy to runaway with overshadowing, especially for me personally.
But ooomph! I have a new background image for my phone now B)
Thank you so much again Hal for this amazing, incredible gift. You worked so hard for me and im so grateful
You are a wonderful butter bean and im just gonna squeeze you all flippin night huuurghhhh <3

Even thought you say that you have too much detail in unimportant parts, the effect in this painting is very interesting to me. The face and the shine on the leg trade the focus back and forth equally, keeping the eye on that side of the picture. The scissors struggle to grab the attention leading to an odd realization when you finally notice them and wonder how you didn't notice this delicate balance for so long. I like that, you created something nice here. (:
