Staring upwards would pacify a lot of onlookers to Jessica's beauty.. it was unimaginable to many that such a giant dragoness existed, especially to her sons. See, she hadn't really gotten the praise she deserved merely because she was objectified by a lot of the onlookers that would come across within the world. If praise was something that was as typical as the bees and the birds analogy lived alongside in the human realm.. then that was the sort she gotten.. granted it wasn't undesired from her perspective but there was fairly little who truly gave her the respect that she deserved. Being a dragoness whose body proportions differed from the jealous humans and other anthropomorphic bent animals... the core of her being a dragon was only respected by her sons and some other small ones.

They knew the power in just saying the word "dragon" and she pampered herself in that pride, pretty often.. but remains humble.
