Firstly, theres a huge difference between a pet and a slave. When I think pet, I'm thinking house pet; only you're special ^^
There are rules and guidelines to being a perfect pet, most of which can be easily mimicked if you think like your dog.
1. You're a pet. Act like one. That includes performing and special tricks. Even simple ones like "Speak": you would then bark (literally) even if you're not a canine or anything close to one
-You're not forbidden to the furniture but you will tend sit on the floor. If you have feral-type legs, you can stay on all fours. If you have humanoid legs you'll have to be on your paws and knees most of the time
-Ears are erect when called, told to listen closely or any other phrase can be translated to "Pay Attention". Ears drop when being praised. It shows that you humbly accept my thanks and affection
-You as a pet have to get along with every other pet. If there's a sign of dislike towards one another, you will share a Leash and thus be responsible for one another until further notice. If the problem persists, the consequence will get worse (alternate punishments will vary)
2. As you are my pet, I will love you like one. Only like 1,000 times more! =P
-Obviously, as a pet, you're in my favor which means that the more love and active devotion you show, the more I'd want to pay it back play you're cards right, you you might get a few comics to go along with the other works
-As a pet, you HAVE to stay in contact with me. if you don't, the love fades and next thing you know you're complaining about wanting something and I'm bitter that you even asked me. I mean I try and make it as easy as possible, I mean my frikken phone number is in like 2 of my journals! including this one! 2812455532
-So far you guys are good at being pets and if you have any other motives, they go largely unnoticed. But if that IS the case, before you put your best foot foreword in hopes for a reward, just know that when I love you back, I LOVE you back <3
3. Teaching methods as well as disciplinary actions can vary both negatively and positively in ways that benefit the situation.
-If you're sharing a leash with another pet, it's to teach you or the other pet something.You will spend an unknown amount of time with your collars linked together by a leash until I feel that you have learned something. This could be for discipline or for simple education.
-To learn from eachother effectively, all pets must be VERY friendly and familiar with eachother. Being so close to one another also helps the pets deal with their master's absence when he is out of the den doing who knows what and bringing back food/money/essentials.
-Advanced disciplinary action varies with the pet and can be emotional, physical or absolutely devastating. However, the damage done will not be permanent or performed without a crime to fit the punishment. i.e. an eye for an eye, only without maiming one another
4. The way you talk to master can affect how he responds.
-I'm super-literate and will read a sentence with an inflection depending on the mood and at times, I can feel when you're being negative and no one likes that feeling right?
-Refer to me as only "Master" Saying "Master Beyl" is unsettling for reasons I can't explain, and not because it almost sounds like "MasterBate". "Master" and "Sir" will do perfectly.
-When talking to master, Begin OR end all your sentences with "Master"
5. The more enthusiasm, the more fun! Get excited like your dog when you finally come home!
-It's ok to be all emotional. if you have an error, tell me and Master will do his best to help you feel better. But if you remain bitter/angry/sad or any other form of discontent, you probably are not listening to the message I'm trying to deliver to you and should try harder.
-Because I try to be devoid of negative emotions doesn't mean you have to be too (although I'd prefer it) But do not automatically press your discontent on me. If I ask you to express, do so without emoting all over me! xP
-If you're generally excited and playful and affectionate, it's a great day for all of us. Trust me, If I'm having a bad day and a pet just smothers me with happiness I'll get over what my problem is without locking it into myself for all eternity >_<

Ah, this is a pretty nice set of rules. Glad you finally got around to listing them, as I'll finally be able to apply them now 83 *paws at your tail playfully*
Also, sorry about the whole "MasterBeyl" thing.. I didn't know it would have that effect. I'll just keep it at Master, then <,>;
