Damsel Sidekick, Queen, and Princess
Another little collection of Jewel doodles. I’ve done a few sketches and it has been a while since I did anything new Jewel-related, so might as well. Enjoy!
So with this collection, it’s Jewel in different outfits, basically in different scenarios that could lead the happy damsel into fun predicaments.
The first is Jewel in a superhero costume, but not quite the hero. Instead, she is more interested in being the sidekick for a partner in crime fighting. She has watched some classic stuff, so when it comes to her being a sidekick, she hopes to be snagged or tied up by some goons, hopefully it lasts a good while before her partner saves the day. She calls herself ‘The Daring Damsel’.
This one was basically inspired by Incredibles 2, it was a fun movie and I wanted to draw my girl in a comic kind of look, always out on the rooftops getting captured.
The other one is with her being an Egyptian queen, at least whatever equivalent there is for Pokemon. The context for this is that not only does she run a damsel-for-hire business, she does also go to photo shoots for a peril magazine, where she is indeed one of many favorites. With many peril themes, Jewel has as much perilous fun as she desires, whether coiled, webbed, hypnotized, etc. Jewel mostly does these shoots to give the money to charity, so the money she earns can has good use. With that in mind as well, it makes it all the more worthwhile being bound and trapped, so given her royal look, do expect a Cofagrigus to mummify her soon.
The last is a classic kind of scenario, presenting the sweet Princess Jewel as she is helplessly tied up. Much to her delight. The ones who kidnapped her hoped to use her kidnapping as a means to get some good doe from the rich king of the land, but to their confusion they find the royal umbreon smiling and blushing, her tail wagging as she swings slowly in the dangling binding ropes. The crooks don’t know what to think of it, but at least the princess enjoys getting nabbed.
