NO - MULTIPLE ETAs were passed
Did you tell the maker about any issues you had?
I did not, I was absolutely stressed out by the end of the whole process, I just took what I had and spaced myself away from them.
HEAD
The following questions ask you to explain how satisfied you are with each feature of the head of the costume. If you are reviewing only a set of ears, your answers would also go in this section.Wear Satisfaction
Please describe how it is to wear this piece of your costume.
The head is VERY heavy, and the ventilation is bad, but I expected as such since the head has the plastic over the kemono eyes. The vision is actually pretty decent!
Appearance Satisfaction
Please describe how satisfied you are with how your costume piece looks from the outside.
The head is probably the cutest part, but it does have a couple of issues.
There are parts of the fur that has been shaved down to the backing, especially on the ears. The hair was put on very odd, and has a sharp glue part towards the back of the head. The piercings are probably the most disappointing part. They missed the nose bridge piercings on the reference sheet, but most importantly the gauges were absolutely LAZY. Plastic circles cut out and glued to either side of the ear, with big glue matts around the outside of the plastic pieces. Absolutely lazy, and I expected something a little more professional for the price.
BODY
The following questions ask you to explain how satisfied you are with each feature of the body of the costume.
If you are reviewing armsleeves or legs/pants that are seperate from a bodysuit, your answers would also go in this section.
(Appendages, such as hands, feet, tails, etc., are discussed later.) Wear Satisfaction
Please describe how it is to wear this piece of your costume.
The bodysuit is very uncomfortable to wear. The padding is made out of polyfil and fleece, which makes it even hotter. It's tight in some places, but lose in others. The legs are so tight near my ankles. My 2nd DTD was only a couple months old before she was made.
Appearance Satisfaction
Please describe how satisfied you are with how your costume piece looks from the outside.
The body looks pretty cute besides the fact the digi padding just doesn't look right. Otherwise, the choice of fur they used is definitely not my favorite, and makes me look wrinkly.
HANDS AND FEET
The following questions ask you to explain how satisfied you are with each feature of the hands and feet of the costume.Wear Satisfaction
Please describe how it is to wear these pieces of your costume.
The hands are super comfortable, super cute, and has to be the only part (besides the poor use of fur) that I genuinely love.
The feet are the worst part of this whole suit. They are too small, and probably 10 lbs each. Makes the suit impossible to wear unless I mini partial.
Appearance Satisfaction
Please describe how satisfied you are with how your costume pieces look from the outside.
The hands look super cute and plush, I get tons of compliments on them and I love how soft and poofy they are!
The feet are big and cumbersome, look very proportional to the rest of the suit, like big clown feet. I could probably wear the fullsuit longer if they weren't so Ill fitting and heavy.
TAILS
The following questions ask you to explain how satisfied you are with each feature of the tail(s) of the costume.Wear Satisfaction
Please describe how it is to wear these pieces of your costume.
The tail popped off the first time I wore it. I had to sew it onto the bodysuit. The "wire" core was just basically a wire hanger straightened out and shoved into the tail, and it popped out as well. The "loop" for the belt was just the fur looped over and sewn to the back of the tail. Poor choice.
Appearance Satisfaction
Please describe how satisfied you are with how your costume pieces look from the outside.
The tail is cute, but it wasnt shaved at all when I received it, which made it incredibly hard to see the spots ontop of the tail. Afterwords I shaved the top of the tail, and it looks much better.
OVERALL SATISFACTION
The following questions ask how satisfied you are with the overall buying experience, including your interactions with the maker and the resulting final product. How well does everything fit together and match up?
The seams on the body hands and feet all together are pretty strong, besides the tail popping off first wear. This was their second kimono suit, and it looks pretty consistent.
Ive had a lot of friends who have had the same issues with their Fur the Win fursuits, so apparently this is common.
How easy was it to initially contact the maker for a quote?
They are always open for commissions, so I contacted them through FB and it was super easy to get the quote and pay.
How satisfied are you with the response time from the maker?
How long did it take the maker to get back to you?
They have multiple people working from them, and they were quick to respond back within a couple hours.
How satisfied are you with the professionalism and customer service and of the maker?
Professionalism was massively lacking.
Some of the workers were a pleasure to speak to, the others just treating me like trash when I had questions. They never had any straight answers. I was told by a friend who owns a suit by them that they were intimidated by them to not post a negative review, hence why no one has said anything about them or done reviews.
How satisfied are you with how long your project took to complete?
I was told when I commissioned that my suit would be ready by February 2017. After a while, I asked for a Queue, and I was told their was no public queue, and they cannot tell you where you are on the queue. That began to worry me. After February 2017 came, I heard nothing, and was told that it would be finished that Fall 2017. Then in Fall told Winter 2017/New Year 2018. Finally after making a public post about how upset I was, the suit was finished April 2018 in time for FWA.
Are you happy with the product you received?
I am very unsatisfied overall. She looks cute from far away, but she's unwearable, uncomfortable, and surprisingly low quality for how much I spent on her. I am already commissioning another fursuit to put this current one in a closet and forget about it.
Describe your overall experience with this maker.
I would not recommend this company to anyone. It's one thing to take over 2 years to finish a commission, but another to keep your customers in the dark, and talk to them in an unprofessional manner.
