I used to work for a company called TeleTech. We handled calls and accounts for Weight Watchers, along with a few other companies, but I worked for WW. There was a guy who would call in usually once a day to talk to the female workers. If he got a male representative he'd hang up and try again. He'd begin to masturbate on the phone, and we'd have to hang up on him. He told one of my co-workers she "sounded fat.", made a close friend of mine who also worked with me extremely uncomfortable to the point that she had to go home early that day, and told me that my voice "sounded so hot.". The entire time, I'm telling him "If you don't have anything relating to our business, you cannot call here. We've told you several times, and your intentions for these calls are harassment of our staff and misuse of our business line. If this behavior persists, we may have to peruse legal action to assure our employee's safety." He didn't listen, of course, and continued to call in until his number got blacklisted and sent to a male manager on another team's phone line every time. Lol.

I took a couple of 'heavy breather' calls too but they always hang up when I answer.

Absolutely the worst.

It's like the universal hazing ritual for all call center/tech support staff

- The angry guy screaming about a 2.50 charge
- The crazy cat lady that makes no sense, bonus points if they're not your customer
- The creepy phone sex dude

Once you get all three, congrats you're part of the family.

I got screamed at for a 1 cent surcharge due to some rounding up somewhere in billing calculations...

Talk about stretching the value of a penny
