Originally drawn by Tikikata and posted waaay back in 2011, this was probably either the second or third drawing I've ever commissioned.

An old pic, this drawing was commissioned not long after I decided to alter my main character Melee's design (read: make him into a girly crossdresser). This outfit here was a placeholder attire I made until I was able to create a proper "default" getup meant for lore purposes (itself an updated variant of what he wore prior, with some minor tweaks to the tunic and a skirt instead of pants), though it's worth noting that I still keep a modified version of this placeholder garb around as a "contemporary" outfit to be used when I see fit.

Also, eyelashes! I believe when I commissioned this artist, the picture I provided for reference material had them, before I decided to do away with prominent eyelashes altogether in my work. It was many years ago, so details are a little fuzzy. It should be said that I'm not against artists giving Melee large eyelashes; it's something I can easily hand-wave as him wearing make-up, and I can most certainly see him wearing girly make-up in certain scenarios. Not every scenario, but some.

It's a pretty old drawing, but seeing it again does bring a smile to my face. I still love how Tiki did the face and the body shape - Melee was never meant to have much in the way of curves, and I think this pic does a great job illustrating that. The face also isn't too far off from Melee's current personality; I like to imagine someone of note just singled him out in a crowd and he's still in disbelief that someone actually noticed him like such. Wonder why I never used this picture for an avatar or anything like that... hmm, I should consider doing that.
