Honestly that guy went way too far just now!! He should not have mentioned her Dad that’s fucked up. And shouldn’t be allowed at a kink function I would personally kick him out if I was staff!! No you're 100% right. At any IRL event, I'd say his behavior would earn him a permanent ban, and an immediate removal from the event.
What really worries me from this point is if he'll try to use this information to hurt Star at work. He's definitely implied that might and certainly could. Time will tell if he will. But I guess we'll have to wait for future pages to find out how it all pans out.

but if he outs star then star has every right, reason, and chance to out him right back. sure she could get in trouble, but the bigger part is that he's her CO, if it got out that HE was at the same function and was even provoking her as he was he'd be going into the boiling pot right with her.
Very, very well done. Especially the facial expressions - some of the better work you've done so far.
A lot of the audience was (unfortunately/worryingly, I think) really struggling with perceived ambiguity as to Matt's character, and this has gone a long way towards driving the message home.

personally speaking, I don't think you should post early despite being a day late to post. I feel like you should keep it at Saturday so you can continue to keep the schedule and get into the habit, and if you do it long enough it will be easier and easier so you are consistent with your uploads then. If you add one day or take away one day because of posting early or late, then things start becoming heavily muddled and you start to throw off any potential of a rhythm building up.
Again this was just my personal opinion and I'll be happy to see it on Friday, but i'll be just as happy to see it Saturday too, whichever one you choose =^w^=

:3 I doubt it's going to happen but it'd be hilarious for his veiled threat of her father to backfire, with -General- Bryce finding out but instead being quite cross with Marellis for his own misdeeds unbecoming an officer ;p Kinda like that one episode of Law and Orde: SVU with the navy woman who got herself into a bunch of trouble and got blamed by the people who victimized her (Her own direct superior) but her father (An admiral) was 100% in support of her.

Wow, I'm not very much of a babyfur...more of a kidfur mind you, but I can see how many lines that's crossing! You don't go and bring work up in a thing like this when a person is at their weakest...but to go and bring her father into this...that's just straight up bullying, boss or not he shouldn't have done that. Guess it's Abe Lincon once said. "You want to test a man's Character, give him power."

It's QUITE amusing now that I think about it...Matt here, I think his name is, is supposed to be Star's boss....BUT considering how he's being in this panel and the previous one...
The only thing he's boss of is a daycare's playground.....cause he's nothing more than a brat or a stereotypical online gamer; pushing someone's buttons cause they can just to get an annoyed, upset reaction.
I'd whoop his bare rear, have him sit in the corner and immediately after go to bed....without any covers for this type of behavior.
But in the case of a boot camp, I'd probably have him scrub the latrines/lavatory clean with A used toothbrush...but he can only use already dirtied mop water to clean it. >=3

As a Fun Side note... Here in Argentina we have a Child's Game called "Martín Pescador" (or "Fisherman Martin" on english), named after a bird from here.
The game consist on little boys acting as the fish school, swiming (walking/running) one after the other on line and passing between 2 birds (2 Fisherman Martin), the birds are other 2 childs how capture one of the fishes from the line (usually the last), and ask the catpured fish what they prefeer between 2 food choices (each bird have previously choosen without lettin anybody knows, like "orange" and "apple"). The little fish make their choice and is sent to the choosen birds team... at the end of the game when the whole line of fishes is divided in 2 sides, both side compete in a pullgame (like the rope game from the militia) and usuallythe one with most people won, but is full of surprises. XD

There is a similar "line of children go between 2 other children, and one of the children in the line is captured" in the US, but I can't recall what it was called.

I know his is just a story but I feel so much for lil star. If she was into being humiliated the way Matt is right now, it’s something that would and should have been discussed before hand. He doesn’t know where stars head is at, after that spanking and nap from Manda she could be feeling voulnerable. Bringing up her dad is one hell of a low blow. If it was something she’d asked for then I’m all for it, but they’ve never talked about their kinks and limits with each other. I can’t wait to see where this goes and think it’s going to be a good example of what not to do at a kink function. Let’s hope Martin and Manda come back to kick his butt! Not even as a joke!!! I don’t care what the situation is or how it came up in conversation but you never even hint at telling someone’s family about their kink! If this happened at any of the events I attend you better believe there would be very serious consequences. First off you definitely would be black balled from any future events, secondly any attempt to out anybody would result in a very heavy lawsuit (everybody that attends events in my area has to sign a non disclosure contract that basically will make it so the person who was outed by you will never have to work another day of their life and holds you responsible for all damages).

I'm married to a marine, and he's been one for five years now. I'm not a marine myself, but I do know a bit about the culture surrounding the military...
With that being said, his actions here are a smidgen bit unrealistic to me, and kind of throws me off. Generally speaking, you don't dirty another marine or military member for what they do in their freetime; some do, but unless the person you're ratting out is doing something bat-shit crazy or just morally unexceptionable, YOU end up looking worse than the person you're outing. The only time you'll ever see outing someone else acceptable is if they're majorly fucking up somewhere; an example being one of my husband's co-workers being outed because he cheated on his pregnant wife.
In this particular instance, outing star would just make HIM look worse. Her activity isn't hurting anyone, and so long as she does the shit she's supposed to at work, no one would really care. Embarrass and make fun of her? Sure thing. Take her less seriously at work? Possibly, but if she's working hard and going beyond, that's not good enough leverage to not follow her orders if she gives them. If he were to put her under scrutiny for her down-time activities, it would show negative intent and he'd get penalized for it, not star.
Plus he is ALSO there, so he'd also be outing himself by bringing these things up. If anything, all I can see him doing now is trying to scare her into working harder at her job. If he actually acted on any of the threats that he's giving her, it'd fuck him more than Star herself.
I dunno. I can easily be wrong on those assumptions, but that's what i've personally seen, and would suspect what would actually happen. He is acting kind of douchey, enough to be sternly warned about doing it again at these events, but I don't believe he'll seriously wreck Star's work life; it's not really in the realm of possibility. Looks like a superior that's just going the wrong route of getting his workers to do better.

I'm glad Martin got Star out of there, but Matt really needs to be put in his place. He crossed a line and he's clearly annoyed that Martin interrupted him tormenting Star. Some sort of payback is needed, or at least a warning if he attempts to shame her outside of the party.
Of course, Babystar already has that all planned out, we just have to wait and see. MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Aaw, man. I was trying to give Matt the benefit of the doubt. I expected him to take at least a little revenge on Star for her bad behavior, but... he seriously just threatened to expose her. To her father, no less.

I'm so relieved for this page. I haven't really been in the little scene but I've been in the BDSM scene and got taken advantage of early on and the psychological abuse was really hitting home and making it really hard to read this part of the comic.
Not that I'd want you to change the story! It's a compelling story, even if it's a little emotionally rough for me to keep up with. I'm especially glad that you're able to use this comic to help yourself with some of your history, to make peace, etc. That's REALLY GOOD and makes me feel warm and fuzzy! I can't wait to read more - I knew I liked Martin. He reminds me of a caretaker I met at a convention little meet far from my home area. I felt very out of sorts and lost and scared but he was really nice, and even gave me a storybook! <3

Y'know, now that I think of it, this isn't the first time he's brought up her dad in some way (although last time, it wasn't to her face). I wonder if he's got some kind of repressed complex regarding the guy that poor Star just ended up being the victim of by proxy.

I love shine so much because I actually Wish I could meet someone like lure and manda in order so that I could break out of my shy little shell and do more things that include stuff like this and, star is a good and Matt is a very very bad and Martin is a very very helpful

Directing comments towards people isn't harassment, I'm directing a comment towards you right now, so we're you. I think I under stand what you were trying to say but you still haven't given me an answer as to how I am harassing anyone by responding to an arguement. If I have to keep repeating myself every time a post a comment, I think this link of messages is over.
It's been a year since the last couple pages were posted, I just started reading them a few weeks ago. I can't get over how big of a old wound these pages opened in me. I was in a position very very similar to Stars, the biggest difference was instead of it being a littles party, it was a gay bar.
My command walked in knowing I was a regular since their wives were there the week before watching a show.
The next Monday I was greeted at work by cgis"federal investigators". They lead to the absolute worst 3 years of my life. Losing my billet, being moved in a extra short period of time, treated as if I was a dangerous person. Leading up until my court time and separation from the military that I really did love.
I built walls around my heart and life that i didn't know where there until recently.
I just hope Stars outcome is better than mine. Granted 5 years later i love where i sn in life.

That's a tough answer, I mean I was a crying mess for several days, and still get the shakes when i reread this section. I lived through the nightmare and did it alone. Facing the nightmare that every little fears left me stronger, I had been exposed, every detail of my life was poured over by strangers, the pics, on my computer, the messages on my phone all of my details were laid out for anyone to see and judge.
The person I am now and still becoming, feels more whole. I am finding my little voice again.
Having experienced what Star will most likely go through terrifies me. I know she will shine in the end, but the trip there will be rough. Sure I will most likely be a sobbing mess during that part, but it's been very therapeutic. A story so close to mine even if fictional, to feel that someone else has gone through it is powerful.
That said yea I would give up everything to make sure no one else had to suffer through that experience.

I dragged up lots of horrible memories for me of my abusive daddy...that once I had gotten star to a safe place at this page http://www.furaffinity.net/view/28723208/ and knew she was going to be fine for a while I just shut down and had like one of the worst art blocks I've had for years which is why the next shine page comes three months later. The comic just made me feel ill. It was unexpected truthfully I thought I had made peace with what happened but clearly haven't even if it was almost 20 years ago.
I'm not looking forward to drawing what comes next, I don't think it's quite as horrific as what you've been thru but your experience is a warning to others. Sometimes I get PM's from military ageplayers saying they're going to do drill exercises padded because star gets away with wearing....she would never go anywhere near base with anything remotely babyish there's a time and place for everything and she'd never jeopardize her job so recklessly. I think it's going to be rough, but hopefully this might help others who have been through that situation. Or a good warning to others. It's not a experience someone should have to go through and the next set of pages might help protect someone. Cautionary tales are excellent for helping people.
In the american military being abdl, is seen as a security risk and you most likely wil lose your security clearance. It's something that a foreign govt or other hostile could blackmail you over. For many people losing that clearance means you can't do your job.
Oh if you ever need just someone to talk to feel free to note me and I will give you my details. Its nice having someone who knows none of your social circle that you can vent with. No judgement, no pressure just a willing ear.

In the american military being abdl, is seen as a security risk and you most likely wil lose your security clearance. It's something that a foreign govt or other hostile could blackmail you over. For many people losing that clearance means you can't do your job.

Ah I didnt mean real dad, Although my real dad was abusive just not sexually so, but when I first ventured into teh online world of ageplay (at the age of 19) the first daddy figure that i built a trusted relationship with, sexually abused me even though at the time i was totally non sexual in my little side. It messed me up for years and still have trust issues as a result, but yeah its important for me in this story to show that not everything is sunshine and roses, not everyone you meet are going to have your best interests at heart and you need to be cautious.
I am so terribly sorry that happened to you. Anyone who abuses someone's trust deserves the worst tortures imaginable. Trust issues are one thing that never goes away, no matter how good the next person you meet is the damage lingers.
Dealing with my abandonment issues isn't ever easy, since it's far easier to keep everyone at arms length and not trust them than it is to risk opening up and getting hurt again. I think I have sabotaged myself from that more than anything else in life.
Honestly I really like that the storyline isn't all sunshine and rainbows there's a darkness in the world that everyone needs to remember. Without those it's just another disney esq, fluff story, filled with things that almost no one will ever actually get.
