Part 1 of a commission story for  cooper42

In the events after the TV-Show "Steven Universe" ends a now late teen Connie finds that she wants to change her body to get larger, and with the help of the fatty Gem Amethyst she starts her training in getting BIG!

First part is a build up to tell on what will happen next, so no weight gain right here but I hope you still like it.

After finally achieving peace between the Gem World and Earth the two human kids Steven and Connie could now start to just live life as normal children once again, as the Crystal Gems still kept living at the beach house with Steven.

Fast forward a couple of years and both of the human younglings was now entering their teen years as Connie was still training herself to both learn there is about Gems and their world, and also how to properly fight with a big sword.

For Steven he was still slightly short in length as his height change wasn't very much, but on the other side he had been packing on a few more pounds to make himself noticeably more rounder then before. (Something that Connie had been especially keeping her eyes on upon entering her teen age.)

By now Steven was a noticeably overweight guy, as he not only a belly about the size of what Rose was when fully pregnant with him, but also pretty chunky tights, a wide butt, and forming a bit of a double chin.

Ever since getting to know him she and Steven had just been good friends, but now she was feeling very "different" about it. She couldn't stop looking at Steven when he was eating, and noticing how his big belly kept poking out a little bit from underneath his shirt.

"Am I doing alright? Am I starting to...get weird?" Connie was asking herself as a voice from behind her was whispering "That depends on what you see as 'weird'.", which caused Connie to jump to the side in shock.

Looking behind her she saw that it was none other then Amethyst, also know as the short purple Gem, who was also the only one to be having a pretty fat sized body. (Despite Gems not necessarily having the need to actually store up any added weight.)

Ever since not having to keep training herself for any kind of world saving business Amethyst had really been letting herself go by just eating all kinds of Earth junk, and plumped herself up to be even fatter then Steven was! (Easily looking pretty obese!)

And while Steven was often pretty modest of showing just how big he was Amethyst didn't seem to hold anything back as she would gladly wear just a simple tank top to her pants, pretty much flashing all of her wobbly purple gut as it was hanging down in front of her!

Yet it wasn't her that was the centre of attention now as she had spotted Connie looking at Steven, and now the human girl had to try and explain herself.

"I...well..." Connie said very unsure as Amethyst decided to just cut the drama and say, "I know you are really into Steven, and mostly his weight. It is pretty obvious." which was causing Connie to start blushing over how bad she was at keeping secrets.

"But I do have to ask you one thing. What do you get fascinated with most? Steven, or his fat?" Amethyst asked Connie, who in return tried to desperately hide the truth by asking back, "What makes you think I would be caring so much about how he looks, instead of Steven himself?"

"Cause I have seen how you look at me the same way when I eat." Amethyst said back, which caused Connie to start sweating a bit as she really had to think quickly to explain that one.

"Well the thing is...you are a gem, so why do you even need to get yourself bigger like that?" Connie asked as Amethyst said simply "Cause I can do it, and therefore chooses to do it."

There was then a bit of an awkward silence before Amethyst then asked in a pretty concern tone, "So can I ask you something for real now? Why do you keep looking so much at Steven and I when we eat? What is it that makes you so curious?"

It was pretty clear by now that Amethyst knew next to all of it, so having no reason to try and hide the truth no more Connie confessed by saying, "I'm doing it cause I get fascinated by it. I look at Steven cause I think he looks so good in it, and the fatter he gets the more I like him. And I look at you cause...I honestly wished I could be like you!"

That last part really came as a big surprise for Amethyst as she looked down at her big flabby body before then looking back at Connie and half confused asking, "Why would you want to be like me?"

"Cause I look at you and see such a brave Gem that isn't afraid of just being her, no matter what the others say." Connie said as she rolled up her shirt to reveal underneath the most well balanced of "Thin-Fat" waiters for a girl like her to have and added, "I often get to hear that I have a fine body, but I still would never dare wearing something that would be flashing that much skin in public. But you can just get the most tight sitting of tank tops and walk down the streets showing off all of your belly and cleavage, and not even looking the least bit concern of what anyone else would be saying about it."

"When I see you keep gorging yourself and packing on more and more pounds I just wish I could be like you, and just say 'Forget It all!!!' and then just start stuffing my face silly with all kinds of junk food, and then just parade around showing that a girl like me can also have a bit of a belly!" Connie said as a bit of a tear could be seen forming in her eye, clearly being very emotional when talking about her own dreams.

"Wow girl. I just think you showed to be pretty brave yourself there." Amethyst said as she put one arm around Connie's shoulder and said, "How about this? I could try and help train you into daring to eat some more, and also teaching you how to learn to love your own body a lot more?"

"Well, I have always wondered how Gems does manage to digest food so it could be a lot of things for me to learn from this!" Connie said as she seemed pretty excited being taken under the wings of Amethyst on this little quest on finding her true body-shape.

"And I can from a safe source tell you that Steven does seem to like it when I get bigger, so he might be a bit into larger girls." Amethyst added to give Connie that last bit of motivation to start going for it, as she was about to make the (literally) big change in her life!
