These guys were on top of a building very near the lion, looking out over the main street that bordered the port in Barcelona.

One of the really cool things about Barcelona (which interested me in particular as an architecture student) is the way that very modern buildings were placed very comfortably next to very old buildings. While this is clearly a fairly old building and the modern ones near it created a very obvious contrast, they blended materials and textures in such a way as to create a common sense of place, rather than trying to declare a new one.
