HEAD

Wear Satisfaction
Please describe how it is to wear this piece of your costume.
Are you satisfied with how it fits you? Is it too tight or loose? Does anything poke you, stab you, make it uncomfortable to wear?
If it is lined, what material was used? Does it absorb sweat appropriately? Does it make cleaning easier? (Note: most fursuits are not lined.)
The head was advertised as being able to fit 24" and that was nearly spot on. The neck area was a tad tight to get my head through, however after trimming about a half inch off of the chin, it fit on snug and comfortable! Once inside, the head fits nicely. There is nothing poking my face / head, and there is no pressure from wearing the suit, and at the same time, I did not feel like it was going to slip off! This head is built on a balaclava and the neck opening is not sewn down, which can make getting the head on a bit difficult, however this is an older head, and West no longer uses this method for head making.

How is the ventilation? Can you breathe well? Is the mask stuffy? Does the air circulate through your head?
The ventilation is surprisingly amazing, much nicer than I expected. The air circulates nicely, coming in through the eyes, and exiting the mouth, and vice verca. The head rarely gets stuffy.

How is the vision? Can you see well in front of you? Is there a large blind spot? Do you have to turn your head to see? (Note: most suits do not have peripheral vision.)
The vision is average; there are the usual blind spots in the peripherals and in the middle. I do have to turn my head slightly to see in any direction, however this does not affect wearability.


Appearance Satisfaction
Please describe how satisfied you are with how your costume piece looks from the outside.
How is the symmetry? Is anything lopsided? Are the markings symmetrical? Do they match the character design?
The white eyebrows are slightly uneven and off center, however I think it gives the suit a sassy look, so it does not bother me at all. The ears curve forward a bit more than I would like, however that is purely a personal preference.

Is the shaving even? Can you see the backing? Is it choppy? Is the transition between fur types and/or lengths what you were looking for?
The shaving is even on all of the fur. Minky was used for the white on the suit's muzzle, which makes that part of the head difficult to clean and keep clean.

How does the fur feel and look? Is the fur crunchy? Do the markings rub off or bleed? Is the fur able to be brushed or smoothed easily?
The unshaved fur looks and feels very soft! The shaved parts look soft, but are just slightly coarser than I would have liked them to be. The fur used for the mane is so much fun, and is super flowy. It can be styled into different hairstyles as well! Brushing and cleaning of the fur is very easy! (save for the minky muzzle as listed above)

How satisfied are you with the expression and overall appearance of the head? Can you achieve varied expressions from different angles? Are the eyes follow-me or static?
The expression of the suit is what drew me in. The suit has a semi sleepy / lazy expression, which I found irresistible! The eyes are static.

Does it match the concept art? If the maker modified your design, are you happy with the outcome? (e.g. if markings were simplified or omitted.)
This suit was a premade, therefore there was no concept art.

HANDS AND FEET

Wear Satisfaction
Please describe how it is to wear these pieces of your costume.
How satisfied are you with how the hands and feet fit? Are they comfortable to wear? Do they allow for good movement? Will your wrists/ankles show if you stretch too much? Do they stay on your hands/feet or do they slide off? Can you put them on comfortably with ease?
The hands are plush style hooves. They are very comfortable to wear, and look great with the suit, however that's about all. The hooves are not good for grabbing anything. I knew this when purchasing the suit however, therefore it is not an issue for me! The wrists are made long enough to not be seen if I stretch. I definitely need someone else around to help put them on! They stay on for the most part, however will slip off if I "fling" my hand too hard.

How is the quality and durability? Are the seams durable? Can you move without popping seams? Have paw pads or claws fallen off?
One seam popped on the underside of the hoof within an hour of wearing, however it was easily fixed by myself. Other than that, the hooves have held together surprisingly well with the stress I put them through!

What is the interior like? What type of shoe base do the feet use? If there is a lining, what material is it? Does it absorb sweat appropriately? Does it make cleaning easier? (Note: most fursuits are not lined.)
The inside of the hooves are lined with a lycra type product which makes them super comfy to wear. It absorbs sweat and keeps my hands from getting clammy during wear!


Appearance Satisfaction
Please describe how satisfied you are with how your costume pieces look from the outside.
The hooves are perfect. The hoof part is made of minky, and the wrist is made with some sort of teddy fur. The wrist fur is a tad coarse, however this does not affect the wear.

Special Attachments and Features
Please describe how satisfied you are with any extra features your hands or feet have.
What are they and how do they work? If they are unique or electronic, explain how they work with your costume. Do they work well? Do they break easily?
These hands are a single digit hoof, meaning no fingers, just a plush hoof.

How easy are they to wear? Do they fall off? Are they painful or time-consuming to put on or take off? Do you need someone else to put them on for you?
They are very easy to wear, however they do tend to slip down a bit now and then. I 100% depend on someone else to help me put on the hooves.

How is the quality? Are they heavy or cumbersome? Are they durable or very fragile? Do you like how they look and do you like using them with your costume?
I LOVE the way these hooves look, and love using them for photos! However, I typically only wear them for just that, photos. Any other time I will wear a pair of cloven hooves I made so I am able to grab stuff.

Wear Satisfaction

The tail is extremely durable, swishy, and fun to wear. It fits easily with or without a belt (I use a carabiner to clip it to my pants).

Appearance Satisfaction

The tail has no symmetrical issues, there is no shaving on the tail, and the materials are the same as used on the head. The tail looks and feels amazing! It's super soft!

How well does everything fit together and match up?
Does everything match up at the seams? Do all the markings keep the correct shape? Are the colors consistent? Are there visible gaps between the pieces of your costume?
Overall I am very satisfied with all of the markings on my suit. There are no visibly obvious seams, and the colors are the same throughout the suit!

Does everything fit correctly? Are some parts baggier than others? If there is padding, does it all look correct when worn together?
Do any of the pieces tug on any others (e.g. if the tail pulls at the tail hole, tearing it over time)?
Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the suit wearability. As stated above, after trimming about half an inch off of the chin, the suit fit absolutely beautifully.

Is this costume consistent with the maker's style? Does it look how you expected based on the maker's previous projects?
Yes, this suit represents West's style exactly.
