Personality: Somewhat apathetic, lonely, ironic, lazy, surly. Sometimes he can have a pretty black mood. He does not enjoy being around many people. He feels very reluctant to do many things, especially because he hates his job, however, he is very professional and perfectionist when it comes to doing his duty, or at least he tries. He has a very sharp mind and is quite smart, but apparently he is another case of ingenuity obscured by laziness. Initially he feels an intense contempt towards mortals, little by little his opinion towards them diminishes.

Background:
Little and nothing is known about his life as a mortal. His earthly life came to an end in the mid-fourteenth century, his soul being converted into a demon to serve the Underworld. Being still new, he was entrusted with the mission of going to the surface and regulating the traffic of souls to hell due to the Black Death that was beginning to spread throughout Europe. Unfortunately due to an accident caused by Baal, more than half of the European population ended up dying, causing a huge bottleneck at the gates to the underworld. This event caused Baal to be removed from his position and relieved of Infernal Affairs, in charge of locating the souls in the different circles of hell. Like all bureaucratic jobs, routine ended up turning Baal into a very insensitive and apathetic being, showing no tact for the souls he had to attend to.
In 2018, due to lack of personnel, they decided to give Baal a second chance. The prophecies narrated the advent of the new Apocalypse, where millions of people in one will be sent to the underworld. For such an event, hell needed to enter into works of infrastructure remodeling in order to receive all that amount of souls. In order to avoid bottling and not to hinder the tasks, Baal was given the title of Provisional Guardian Demon to reduce the deaths and thus the traffic of souls does not hinder the tasks. Baal does not like the idea of abandoning his routine and returning to the place where he had been expelled, but reluctantly will do his duty.

Extra data:
- Like angels, demons must earn their wings. Baal does not have wings, so to fly he must invoke them by means of a spell. Unfortunately, Baal's magic handling level is below average, so unforeseen events often occur when he invokes something.
- Demons can not die on the surface. When they receive mortal damage they go down to hell and go back up. Unfortunately, the process of taking a demon to the earthly world costs inputs, so for every time a demon revives, it is deducted from his salary.
