The last of my commissions, and this one from
ealadubh , whose own work helped me discover the fandom. I don't attempt equine TFs that much, but how could I turn this down?
Luckily I just happened to have got my hands on a used book about fairies in art. This was probably the painting that most influenced this picture - https://fineartamerica.com/featured.....?product=pouch .
The trickster figure is based on Mickey Rooney as Puck in the 1935 movie version of 'Midsummer Night's Dream' - one of the greatest examples of a human playing a supernatural creature.
To quote another Shakespeare, "Oh, that I had been writ down an ass!"
