Man, gas masks would be wierd for furries.
They'd have to have an air pump, because you aren't sealing against fur, so they've gotta be positive pressure. Got the WW1 vibe, so that means a manual bellows rather than an electric blower. Maybe in the left armpit so the right arm can still be used for the shooting (while doing your best chicken dance with the left)
