I don't have them so precidesly defined as some plane nerds probably would want me to, but I can say that of the bunch, Gi is the only one capable of supersonic flight and altitude.....well, they're technically space-capable. Although, whether they are capable of leaving atmosphere on their own or not is not something I've considered yet, seeing as the universe features FTL travel.

Ah, if your question is about the technologies, then I must admit I haven't spared it a thought - my interest in the mechanical mongrels is a lot about the transhumanist (well, transcreature) aspect of them, so I play loose and fast with the actual science.
But in terms of methodologies, it's jumping (think the Battlestar Galactica FTL). Or, as Rasch would describe it, "like punching a hole through a thousand stars"
