A mercenary life is usually well filled with different kind of adventures. Guarding a cargo, securing space around a neutral station in a middle of a gang war area, piracy contracts... And sometime something more enthusiastic: being paid for the exploration of a planet free from civilization, for the count of a private society that would like to build it's own colony / center far from any corporation influence. A brand new adventure!

The featuring ship is the heavy fighter Gunslinger, model from the Star Wolves serie (an excellent real-time strategy game in space I strongly recommend to every fan of the kind)
The shapes of the ship itself reminds me of the Turian's manufacturing style for their vessels.
