Personality

Superior
Holds herself above both mortals and demons.
Given her seniority and influence and the legends
mortals have surrounded her with compared to many
her pedestal is justly respected.

Elegant
She carries herself like that of a concubine, her shoulders
and back straight while her head is typically lowered to a
subtle degree. In the past this was used to lull humans into a
false sense of security and/or superiority, though after she
met the mortal who aided her it was to affirm her own humbled
and thankful feelings when in his presence.

Malicious
Has no mercy toward mortals who get on her bad side and will
curse, even murder without restraint and find satisfaction in the
act, no matter how gruesome her approach. There have been
times she killed and feasted purely out of hunger for a snack.

Possessive
Typical in demons, when her husband managed to strike her
fancy she clung to him, making the line between being loved
and being an object blurred though she does care regardless.

Likes/Dislikes

What she likes is mainly limited to the devouring and
plaguing of human-kind, though she discovered a particular
lust for sardines after her time spent with a mortal that aided her.

Likewise she also lusts for said mortal, though it took some
time and hardships for such feelings to stir given her eternity
of solitude and the lost comprehension of ones own emotions
that come with it.

Background/History

Kushina is a demon/yokai that has existed and traversed the
world since mankind first walked the Earth, and because of this,
has come to carry many titles and legends passed down by
humankind who have been lucky enough to meet/spot her and
come out alive.

So ancient is she that some attribute her to the timeless tale of
Adam and Eve, while others heralded her as a goddess of sorts,
and some branding her as all types of yokai which in actuality
don't exist, but are merely accounts of her twisted into new beings
with the tales of meeting her vastly altered.

She has spent eons cursing and devouring humankind as a
hobby/diet of sorts, and does so still to this day, though this act
is kept secret from the husband she now spends eternity with
and bears children for.

Relatives/Family

Husband
The unnamed youth of the Snake and Giver story,
he saved her from a blizzard which kicked off the
events that would see her eventually becoming his
bride and bearing his children after living an eternity
of solitude, traveling alone while relentlessly cursing
and devouring mortals as her sole pastime.

Until their marriage she was the only of her kind and had no connections.

World/Setting

Mortal World/Spirit World
She travels freely between the two, though she has
also tread hell itself on occasion when feeling bored
of her usual journeys. By the end of the story she and
her husband set roots in the spirit world, a realm in
between the living and hell.

Body

Human Form
As many demons/yokai can, she can take the form
of a woman, albeit with some remnants of what she
truly is remaining along her face.

Cross Form
She can manipulate her human form to don demonic
traits used for the mutilation of humans which she feasts
upon when one annoys her, or sometimes when hungry.

Snake Form
She can have the appearance of a typical Mud Snake
at will, albeit with venomous traits to her head and eyes
along with a set of fangs typical of dangerous reptiles.
Her scales feature the same colors as her outfit when human.

Clothing

Kimono
Normally dons an outfit of black and red that is kept
below her shoulders to emphasize her femininely gifted
figure. Though her appearance is a bit odd and traditional
compared to what others wear around her, it's of little
issue to her, even less-so for passerby locals who tend to
gawk at her endowment.

In poise and fashion she is a quite literal concubine.

Accessories

Engagement Ring
Given to her by the human who professed his feelings
and intentions.

Soul Ring
A type of wedding ring which houses the immortal soul
of her husband, a gift of immeasurable value to her kind
received on their wedding day and crafted by Hades.
