I don't necessarily like bullies as a rule but there's something magnetic about
Ishi's Krista. Bumped into them on Taps recently and thought I should take a shot at drawing the little punk coming out of the local Dollar Store with a bag fulla after-school treats.

Aiyah! Is bully bear Krista, Scourge of the Waterfountain and Pusher into Lockers! o_o I imagine there's a reasonable explanation as to why a young woman wearing braces, also enjoys dollar-store Toothbreaker candy bars. ^_^ A thoroughly pleasant picture, Jeremy, which I strongly suspect Krista will not appreciate! Hee hee hee.

Pleased to be, Jeremy! I do +Watch your account, and I'm sorry if I've been more of a stranger than expected recently. ^_^ But yes, I expect someone with Krista's IC personality would first accept the braces' fitting, then resent them thoroughly and make a total mess of them (with candy, chocolate and all), and her teeth, just to be contrary. o_o I will admit, the local Family Dollar or Dollarama (two chains that make up a number of the local discount stores here in Canada, at least in the Toronto area) are an excellent place to find inexpensive treats to settle a sweet tooth or two.
I don't tend to buy a lot of candy there; rather, I do regularly buy resupplies of a couple of different stationery supplies. One I rely on heavily is the store's brand Studio plastic erasers, coming in blister packages of four block erasers for a dollar a package. They're as good as most quality white plastic erasers I've used, and the minimal expense for them makes them simple and low on cost to keep a good supply available. But yes: Dollarama probably has one of the best range of varieties of chocolate bars and candies I can think of here. I think right now it's the only place locally I can find multipacks of 3 Musketeers or Butterfinger bars, two types that I am very fond of. ^_^

Let it not be said that I ever totally disagree with a bully bear's reasoning! :) I think of any place I can think of in my neighbourhood that has a titan variety of candy and chocolates at all now, it's probably the Dollarama here that's barely twenty comfortable minutes' walk away. Gigantic chocolate bars and Milk Dud & Junior Mint boxes, almost every candy I can think of from my pup years, still sold in the two or three hundred gram boxes, and thoroughly affordable to boot. ^_^ Hallowe'en is every day, when you have a place like the Big 'D' near home.
Cheers, ami Ishi, and thank you for posting back! :)
