This lady is a finished soft mounted american red fox. Nicknamed "bobby" as we worked on her due the the naturally bobbed tail. She was originally a "wall hanger" pelt, but we have done our best to produce a beautiful soft mount. The mount has a traditionally mounted head, whilst the body is stuffed with polyfill, to produce a soft and floppy fox that can be cuddled, posed and held.
The legs on this fox have also had wire armatures included to keep their shape somewhat, this means they can be positioned however you like. With out these wires we find soft mounted foxes get what we like to call "spaghetti leg syndrome" where they twist and bend in highly unnatural ways and positions.
