The real eye candy for me here isn't so much the tickling surprisingly, it's the armor lol. Sketcher did a fantastic job with it.
Here it is in color, it took a while but I'm quite happy with the result.
As for the scenario of this drawing, I guess Sonic was suiting up for battle when Merlina came in and surprised him.
