If only they were so sweet in real life! Many moons ago I used to work with Harbour and Grey seals for a living (Aberdeen University) and believe me, not a single one of 'em ever looked at me this way when I had it in a net - or any other time, for that matter. If one had, I might have stayed longer in that employment!

Wild seals be full of food, so they just stare at you as they might some other snack; a baby squid, perhaps. A year-old grey seal is 90% muscle and 10% terror when dealing with us poor frail Homo sapiens...
