This commission features the dashing Rex Wolfsong…a blue wolf/husky mix. I like his character design especially. Two-tone hair always manages to look impressive. The wardrobe endears itself to me, as well - I don’t know if they actually make gloves like that, but if they do, I’d want a pair. Not to wear - just to admire. It takes a special kind of man to be able to wear a bellybutton ring on an exposed midriff without garnering chuckles.

Seriously, this Rex Wolfsong does, indeed, look badass. The two-tone hair is pulled off well, as are all the piercings and belts. I like those gloves, too...They remind me vaguely of the gloves worn by Lilynette of Bleach. The piercings, the belts, the gloves, the hair...Then, there's the badass longcoat. Although, the shoes look like a cross between tennis shoes and pumps...The fact that he can look like a total badass with those included is very telling of the masterful design.
He's like a furry-version of a posterboy for shonen manga protagonists...!! And I like that. It's like his intended design was to pile so many male protagonist cliches onto a single furry that it could only result in an utterly unique character...INGENIOUS!!
Just wondering, has his Power been planned out by Death By Cornchips? He looks to me like he would have something for quick assaults, take out the enemy before they can retaliate...Like a small, mobile vacuum that can be formed into a rough sword-shape or multiple cutting projectiles, for example.
