I'm actually working on a female Turian OC that would have both a long, flexible "dreadlocks-like" crest like this *and* a huge rack; I'd chalk it up to it being the result of plastic surgery. I mean, I've seen some impressive body transformations IRL, so a fake crest and boobs don't seem *that* far-fetched given the level of technology in the ME 'verse.
