So how be that Ural? I've looked at them before. Some of the German folks have worked on Chang Jiangs, which I personally like, though they do require work.

Did you buy it complete from Russia or from a US dealer? I'm curious as to what needs to be done for DOT legal crap over hoir.

Nope, the 2006/2007 models have Japanese gaskets, not sure of the manufacturer. Bought mine from a dealer right down the street here in San Jose, so if they're street-legal in Cali right off the lot, then the rest of the US should be gravy.

One thing, though, in Cali no rider's safety course or motorcycle licence is required, since it's considered an axled vehicle. Other places I've heard it's different.
