This is my absolute favorite thing to think about regarding giant ballgowns: potentially getting stuck in wide hallways and doors! It's such an absurd concept, but so fun to imagine actually happening!
What must it have been like back in Victorian/Antebellum times, when woman actually wore this kind of dress all the time? Did architecture change to accomadate crinolines? I don't know, but that would be awesome!
