My good friend Cara and I have been bouncing writing ideas back and forth, and on one of the many nights of conversations these cuties were born!

Cara linked to the Romanian lore about vampire pumpkins and watermelons, interesting to say the least! So based upon this lore we came up with Pupkins, little pets and familiars of witches that help with spell casting, magical fortitude, and companionship. They're kinda like pug gourds lol, just think of them that way.

While we're still fleshing out the species info for a larger project coming soon, for now I'd like to introduce this litter!

Spud aka Spoiled Spud is the giant 17 pound orange/white boy on the right, next to him is the oldest (and runt) Sweetpea - don't let her size fool you because she is rowdy, on the far left we have the lovely Cezanne who is a Show Pupkin and has won three ribbons in her class, and lastly, the sweet and not so bright Pierogi aka Pears aka Pear Bear - he wears a bell on his tail because he gets lost in his own house.

There will definitely be more pupkins in the future!
