Camera makes it more vivid than in person but I don't want to edit it to resemble the real thing.

I've got this whole stack of various paints and brushes I was given years ago and haven't ever used, so i'm trying to make an effort. I got a vague idea of what kinds of pictures watercolours are good for and I don't think it's the kinds of pictures i'm that into. Acrylics next...

Edit: Y'know this doesn't look so bad in this photo. But the actual painting is way more washed out and disappointing. It's a testament to the might of digital painting where you can easily adjust the colours and levels, amongst other things.

I've got higher hopes for acrylic since I think i've got a wild trick to help cheat my way to a decent painting.
