Although appearing quite monstrous when he's fully powered up and mutated, Megadragon is a heroic warrior who will go to great lengths to protect the innocent. It's just that due to his extreme size and (when he has it) that huge energy-filled gut, collateral damage is a real problem for him. Maybe just give him some space when he's fighting.
