Actually, I looked up these things in articles and history books. Dante was a person that researched alchemy. As for: Flawed, Hatred, Blasphemy, Arrogance, Malice, Thanatos, and Guilt the names mostly came from the game "Chaos Legion" and having them as Humunculi was the the manga of Fullmetal Alchemist. They don't share the same weaknesses or immortality as the anime/manga of FMA.
Dante isn't looking for immortality exactly, merely an escape from death that was cruelly handed to him prematurely
