It all started in December 2006 when I landed in hospital after a head injury (cracked skull... wall collapsed as I was climbing over). After a rigmarole of being transported between incompetent hospitals, it was estimated that I'd be bed-ridden for up to 6 weeks, so the crowd at the pool bar I hung out at all chipped in for a getting better present.

Before they even got started on the pressie, my wolverine healing powers kicked in and I was out and about within 3-4 days with nothing but a headache and slight balance issues. So...they decided to use the money they had put together to make me a Birthday pressie instead. They got the pool table frame made, but couldn't find anyone who was good at drawing wolves to finish it off =P

Eventually, years later, I was given the frame and asked if I could help find someone to assist with my wolf pic, which I jumped at doing myself =P Actually, I turned it into my character rather than just drawing some random wolf. Thanx to  greykitty for making a line art pic for me that I used for reference. Drawn with a set of pastels I've had lying around since primary school.
