Thanks. =) Yeah, that's why melodic trance is very popular, because it combines uplifting melodies with the pounding beats of the familiar "4-on-the-floor" kickdrum.
Coming up with really good melodies isn't so easy. x_x My advise, just brainstorm a bit and keep writing melodies at random. Then select one that you like.
