Most people's only encounter with the tikbalang is with the Infallable Tikbalang Ward of World of Warcraft... which protects against nothing. It's a scam.

The tikbalang is an actual monster in Filipino mythology. They're monsters with the heads and feet of horses with legs so long their knees are above their heads when sitting. They have a mane filled with spikes. Find the right spikes and you can pull them out to make a talisman that will allow you to tame the beast and make it work for you.
