
Simon and his sock monkey. Something is going on here, but I don't quite know what.
I've been trying to loosen up my 'style' some, not be so obsessive compulsive with every little line being perfect (well, as perfect as I can make it, which isn't very). Seems like it might be more relaxing. Ah well.
This looks considerably better full sized; jpg. compression absolutely slaughtered the shading and detail. For example the teeth look like little white blobs here, but the real thing there's like seven or eight distinct shades.

God, I get what you mean about compression. That's the ONLY thing I don't like better about FA when compared to other art sites. However! As artists, we are our own worst critics, and I don't think this picture looks slaughtered- still looks good to meee~ :D
