I've been trying to loosen up my 'style' some, not be so obsessive compulsive with every little line being perfect (well, as perfect as I can make it, which isn't very). Seems like it might be more relaxing. Ah well.
This looks considerably better full sized; jpg. compression absolutely slaughtered the shading and detail. For example the teeth look like little white blobs here, but the real thing there's like seven or eight distinct shades.

Yeah, hear you on the .jpg compression. I can imagine that the higher res, uncompressed version probably looks a lot better.
And the directional hatch shading looks quite unique.
He looks so.... happy with his sock monkey :D The expression came out really well, and I agree with the above about the hand details.
I wounder who or what he's laughing at? You draw amazing expressions. :)
