Like something lurking in an RPG or FPS game that looks like part of the scenery until you come near it and then it tries to do something horrible to your character

Intense colours, but great organic effects on the skin of it..

Only thing I can think of is that you should push your values further. It's something I notice a lot of people (especially me) are afraid to do.
