Another one of  hanazawa 's character concepts i commissioned from her for my various collection of characters.

Here we have Daisuke Hayato, a former high profile Sumo Wrestler turned low level crime boss then Informant for various Japanese supers, mainly Poison Lily and Strike Rider.

After he retired from Sumo Wrestling he went into various legitimate business ventures, such as traditional Japanese Inn's, small gambling dens, public baths, and comfort houses. However he strayed into the criminal underbelly by providing his ventures as meeting places between the various Yakuza crime families. He became a criminal associate and was at odds with Nobonaga clans who disapproved of him making deals with clans they didn't like, such as the Nihonryōri Clan.

His hands were tied as he had been threatened by the gangs with blackmail regarding a secret whore house he had under one of his main inn's, as well as being threatened with murder if he dared went against the Nobonaga Clan. His break came when he caught Poison Lily spying on one of the clan meetings and easily managed to take the heroine by surprise, who was still inexperienced with her new role and defeated her. He took her to private spa room and after hours of using unconventional methods of getting her to talk, managed to uncover her plot to bring down the Nobonaga clan.

Daisuke surprised her by telling her how the clans forced him to work for them and how he wanted out, but he would have to hand her over to the Nobonaga clan. Poison Lily managed to make a deal with Daisuke, if he let her go, she would make sure the clans never mess with him again. Daisuke took the deal and let her go, a few months later the clan harassing him was destroyed by Poison Lily. Daisuke was pleased and in return for staying mostly Legitimate, he would act as her informant, however he often wishes for Poison Lily to do favors for him in return for the info, from dealing with local street gangs harassing his customers, to dealing with yokai monsters that had taken up residence in one of his establishments.

He cares deeply or Poison Lily's well being, being eternally grateful for her helping him to escape from the Nobonaga clan's control and be a freeman once more, it is also believed that he has some feelings for the young wolfess as well. He has recently become an informant for not only Poison Lily, but also other supers such as Strike Rider and even Lionheart, however he tends to steer clear from most of the bureau supers as they tend to be too nosy for his liking.
