Ive dug myself into many communities and from my experience from what another furry has said on the internet the best way to rate furies is ranging 0 to 7 the higher that number the more furry they are
0: Are those that are mistaken as furies often due to there similar looks to them when in all reality its to show a sense of self as in the first picture. These Guys come off as angered at the community because real furies keep thinking there a part of the community or shy and insecure getting upset as being mislabeled by a community. He called it Furgatory and the saying is not to far from the truth.
1: Its rare to see a furry on this layer because of the fact this only tends to apply to kids who have a creative and innocent mind and see anthropomorphic animals as something they attach to.
2: Is where ALL casual starter furies are at they are the people who have thoughts and maybe the idea of a furry OC but are not a proper furry but they like hanging around the community because its something they like.
3: is when they have officially established being one with the community having an OC and actually mingling with the community in all its glory this is also where you get the best kinds of furries there around this sweet spot ranging from 3 to 5 what can i say furies have a reputation of doing all sorts of things my favorite part is the amount of just how kind people are in it have that sense of innocence makes anyone who is not even a part of the community feel loved just if you are one do remember personal boundaries.
4 & 5: the Fur suiters the people who are commited to the community and show it with the wearing of the fursuit. 4: Got one or had thoughts of getting one and if they did there to ill confident in public to wear it. 5: They have conquered there fears and are not afraid to love everyone as the public innocent and loved furry they show themselves out to be.
6: Sadly as with everything this is past the sweet spot and its when the dark parts of the mind seep in there innocence starts to shed and thats where you get into the dark and possibly very kinky things but in this case there still sane and can still be reasoned with.
7: There a lost cause and have now delve themselves into insanity with the crazy cranked up to 11 and is completely off the rails...
This is not 100% accurate but its a good baseline to fall by I found it to work well when seeing what kind of furry someone is but I have of course seen people deviate here and there im just saying its this mind set I use to help me dictate what furies are the good kind and what kind are to far gone to be reasoned with. Another gripe i have granted im more of a 2 and i know it has no involvement with me but my biggest gripe is when the furries heck any community for that matter get a bad wrap cause of people who's mindset really fails to line up with what the community is all about. Those people ruin it for all and this applies to all communities not just furries. all im saying for those blunders let it be known I feel bad when such things happen to communities.

There is two parts and he basis it on the 7 layers of hell but take it with a grain of salt because I am only there for the scale not the opinions of a furry.
